GrizzlyStik Momentum TDT® Ethics Test Pack

The GrizzlyStik System, when built with stainless steel Ethics inserts is super strong and weight adjustable. Please refer to the chart below to see the weight options available with the Ethics inserts.

Please note that the weights vary for the various sizes of GrizzlyStik arrows. The Ethics inserts are weight adjustable, but each size offers different weight options. It may look confusing at first, but it's actually easy if you follow the specs on the chart.

For estimates of approximately what your arrows will weigh at various lengths, please refer to the GrizzlyStik Arrow Weight Chart available - HERE.

If you're looking for a one arrow and broadhead build that can do it all - consider the GrizzlyStik system with an Ethics insert upgrade!

The GrizzlyStik Momentum TDT Ethics test pack is designed for you to be able to see which spine works best for you out of your bow. The Ethics insert is weight adjustable so you have control over the finished weight of your arrow build.

Think of how easy that will be, what kind of confidence you will have, knowing that you are shooting arrows with so much power that they can bring down your big game trophies even when things go wrong. You can hunt; whitetails, turkey, hogs, elk, moose, bison, wild sheep, caribou, black bear, grizzly and brown bear, anything in North America with one arrow and broadhead setup.

Remember the old saying: "Beware the man with one rifle - for he very well may know how to use it."

When you shoot the same arrow setup season after season, you know how it shoots under all situations. You get a 'feel' for your setup - your shooting becomes second nature. At that point all you're doing is hunting and getting yourself into position for the shot. The shoot itself will be natural, fluid, and deadly.

The GrizzlyStik Momentum TDT Ethics Test Pack comes with:

♦  Two (2) Fletched Momentum TDT arrows

♦  Your choice of either 2" vanes or 4" RW Feathers fletched 'Right Helical'

♦  Two (2) Bohning "A" white push-in tunable nocks or upgrade to lighted Glory nocks

♦  Two (2) Ethics inserts - You let us know if you want them loose or if you would like us to install them. (If we install them, we will use permanant 2-part epoxy adhesive.)

Please select carefully from the drop downs above if you'd like us to cut the Ethics posts for you. Weights are listed in the chart above.

♦  Two (2) GrizzlyStik field points

♦  Arrow cutting and insert installation services are available

We've included some helpful information below so you can get the most from your GrizzlyStik testing experience.

Note: Once arrows are cut to length they are non-returnable.

We get a lot of feedback from the bowhunters who order GrizzlyStik test packs. Here are some options that should make your selections easier. We're listing three mindsets below. Pick the description that fits you best and then order your test pack accordingly.

#1 - Make it easy for me!

The easiest way to approach this is to call us with the following information:

    • What weight are you shooting at your draw length?
    • What is your draw length?
    • What is your arrow length? (Measured from the valley of the nock to the end of the arrow not including the point.)
    • What arrows are you shooting now?
    • What is the spine - or deflection of those arrows?
    • What point weight are you shooting on them?

The information you give us will help us help you select the spine of the GrizzlyStik arrows you will end up testing. Note: If you want us to suggest what might fly best for you, the more information you can give us the better. The final choice is yours and once arrows are cut to length, they are non-returnable.

We will then give you an educated guess on two arrows that we will cut to the same length as the arrows you are shooting now. We will probably suggest two arrows with a different spine so you can see first hand which one shoots the best from your bow with you shooting them.

Once we give you our suggestions, you can either order right then on the phone, or you can place your order online.

#2 - Make it easy - but I have an arrow cut off saw and I can fine tune the arrow flight by adjusting the arrow length myself.

We would still like to know the following information:

    • What bow are you shooting?

We will then give you an educated guess on two arrows that we will either cut to whatever length you would like, or even not at all. The best way to tune the arrows to your bow with you shooting is to start with arrows that you know are longer than you will need. That will make them weaker, as you shorten them you make them stiffer. You keep shortening and shooting until you get perfect flight.

Then, no matter what length they are, that is where you know they fly the best and that is the length you would order all arrows in the future.

It's sort of like shooting a bunch of factory loads from a particular rifle until you find the one that shoots the best. You tune this specific set up to your bow by adjusting the arrow length but not the point weight.

Note: We will probably suggest two arrows with a different spine so you can see first hand which one shoots the best from your bow with you shooting them. You can order whatever you'd like, but for best results, we always recommend testing two different spined arrows.

Once we give you our suggestions, you can either order right then on the phone, or you can place your order online.

#3 - I like doing all my own testing - I got it from here.

We still would like to know the following information:

      • What bow are you shooting?

At this point, because you have the field point test pack, you can test various point weights to see how they affect your arrow flight. (If you had us use hot melt cement when we glued in your inserts you can also mix and match the brass weight adapters for total control over your arrow mass weight and your FOC (forward of center) percentages.

This is a more complicated method of working up your 'hand load' for your bow, but it gives you much more control. You might find that you are more pleased with the trajectory of a 585 grain arrow, or you might find that 700 grains or 750 grains not only flies best, but groups better down range and is less susceptible to cross winds.

You will know what works best for you because you will have done the testing. Think of this as building yourself a totally custom hand load for a particular rifle. You will change the arrow length, the point weight, and the FOC (forward of center) percentages to find the EXACT arrow and broadhead system that works best for you, with you shooting, out of your specific bow.

"I just got back from South Africa late last night after a two-week successful Bowhunting Safari on the East Cape. I was lucky enough to harvest a total of seven trophies my most prized trophy being a 40" Cape that I shot at 31 yards. This was one of the most exciting hunts I have been on in a long time.

This buff mock charged us 4 times before I was able to get an arrow into his chest at 31 yards. I had a Ph backing me up with a 375 and a second guy shooting a 505 Gibbs fortunately their services were not needed. I did get all of the action on video however it's definitely not for the faint of heart.

The arrow buried in his chest up to the fletch and within 15 seconds he was in pretty bad shape. I did shoot him a second time at 23 yards behind the shoulder before he went down. I put two more arrows in him once he was down to make sure he was not getting back up.

I used the Victory VAP arrows with the stainless inserts and a 315 grain Ashby broadhead see attached photograph on the condition of the head after impact on the buffalo was absolutely amazing. The total arrow weight including the broadhead was 715 grain. My Hoyt Carbon Matrix set at 85lbs definitely did the job." Steve Greenwood, Managing Director, Victory Archery
