Shot this bull on the last day of the hunt after several close calls and blown stalks. First shot low in the heart at 36 yrds but missed the main arteries and broadhead buried into the offside leg bone. Heard him crash and light was getting low so followed up quicker than I would recommend. When we got to him he was very much alive and got on his feet. Shot 3 more times till he was down all full pass throughs in the boiler room on a full grown Cape buffalo. First shot would have done the trick if we had been a little more patient but great to see the performance on the remaining shots.

It took me 23 years to draw this tag and I was in the woods for 30 days before I found this bull. My release had broken on a belly craw so it was a miracle I was able to connect with this bull.
