DSC Buck

DSC Buck - "This is my second year to really bow hunt seriously. Last year I shot three deer and one pig with my bow. Only had one arrow come through the opposite side and it wasn't a pass through.

Watched all four animals run off with arrows in them. All four arrows ended up broken off. Recovered three of the four with a lot of effort and lost one. I knew there had to be something better.

Then I talked with you guys at the Dallas Safari Club show in Dallas January 2019. I went home and thought about it for awhile. Not going to lie. This was more of an investment than I was use to making on arrows and broad heads. But this summer I pulled the trigger. Bought a half dozen arrows and three Maasai 200 broad heads (the 650 set-up). Needless to say I'll be ordering more!

First shot fired at anything other than a target. Clean pass through at a little over 20 yards! He ran 30 yards and went down. I could see him from my stand!

When I do hunt with a rifle I like to use "heavy for caliber" bullets. Why wouldn't I do the same with my bow! By biggest buck with a bow and biggest buck ever! GrizzlyStik from now on! Thank you!" - Bobby J Jones

It was a calm morning with no wind. Very cold 15 degrees. I went early in the morning into the timber to climb up my treestand. He came by my treestand 20 minutes into legal light. I shot him at 20 yards broadside. I watched him for about 10 minutes before I shot him. Couldn’t have been a better way[...]
