Samurai Spinal Tap

**Samurai Spinal Tap** • "Hey GrizzlyStik, we got to use the Overkill Samurai 125's this past season. I was rattling the horns for my buddy Trevor when a buck stepped out further than we anticipated. In between rattling sessions, the buck was on point making the 49 yards a risky shot. But when I hit the horns together again, the buck proceeded to rake apart a bush he was standing near.

This lapse in the bucks focus allowed Trevor to draw and send the 456 gr arrow towards the vitals. Like all hill country deer, the deer dropped and turned before taking the arrow behind the shoulder. The deer moving on impact redirected the arrow 10 inches up through the spine dropping him instantly.

63# Bear Arena bow, 456 taw, Samurai 125 Overkill. 15% foc. This was by no means a moose setup, but the pictures show how the right broadhead makes a marginal bow and arrow combo, a lethal combination." - @carsonrost

I shot him at 20 yards broadside. I watched him for about 10 minutes before I shot him. Couldn’t have been a better way[...]
