Was fortunate enough to finally punch a mule bow tag this past weekend. Not the greatest shot option (there were 5 deer on the bait and 3 of them were yearlings who didn't stand still), but the doe was quartering towards me and I was able to place my grizzlystik arrow at the base of the neck, inside of the left shoulder blade. When we recovered the animal, which didn't go more than 100 yards, the arrow was sticking out of the opposing butt cheek.... the arrow cut an artery in the neck, went through a rib, both lungs and out the back. Broadhead is still sharp. That's 2 bow kills this season. The freezer is gonna be full of tasty wild game!

It took me 23 years to draw this tag and I was in the woods for 30 days before I found this bull. My release had broken on a belly craw so it was a miracle I was able to connect with this bull.
