South Africa Triple

Buffalo shot with a 950-grain Grizzlystik, no rifle needed.

Hunting from a ground blind in South Africa a herd of buffalo came in with a nice hard bossed bull. It took a while for a shot opportunity but I double-lunged him with the first shot. The herd jumped and then settled back down not knowing what happened. The bull started to walk off but circled back giving me a second shot. Double lung shot again. He staggered off about 10 yards and died in front of us. We were thrilled to not have to follow a blood trail.

The other two animals were shot with 650-grain arrows with a Maasai broadhead. Both died in front of me. No tracking needed!
