Last Friday I returned to the woods and was fortunate to harvest another mature Roosevelt elk. At 42 yards, I took a frontal shot, confident in the arrow components, the heavy broadhead, and the perfect tuning I’d done on the bow and arrow combo. The arrow penetrated and the animal was down in less than a minute, having gone no farther than 20 yards. The arrow was lodged 30 inches deep into the animal, having split his heart open and penetrated all the way to his stomach. I can’t think of a better result on a beautiful elk. If you look at the photos you can just make out the tip of the arrow sticking out of its chest near its right shoulder. Thank you to your team for constructing heavy, well built arrows and incredible broadheads for them. I’ll be a customer for life.

It took me 23 years to draw this tag and I was in the woods for 30 days before I found this bull. My release had broken on a belly craw so it was a miracle I was able to connect with this bull.
