"Old World Tusker" - Romania is one of a small group of Eastern European countries that has legal bowhunting. The number of hunting opportunities is extremely diverse - brown bear, bison, red stag, wolf, mouflon sheep and Russian boar. While on his last old world safari, @schaefer.corey took this tusker shooting a Momentum TDT tapered arrow tipped with an OVERKILL Samurai 125.
Just wanted to send you guys a testimony picture. I was using a 650 grain package with a Maasai 200 grain single bevel broadhead. This 300 lb SW Florida boar ran 45 yards and then folded up!
Well, same build, same lethal results. Got this boar in Mendocino County California. 35 yards and completely pass through. Arrow punched through both sides of the rib cage and the left front leg.
